Shot Notes
We visited Lydford Gorge yesterday, and this is one of three or four photos that I’m pretty happy with. This picture is from Devil’s Cauldron, taken at a fairly slow shutter speed - although, given the amount of water flooding down, it didn’t need much to create the blurring effect one usually sees with waterfalls.
Well worth a visit for anyone that’s interested in nature photography, lots to see and some great photo opportunities. Taken with the 24-105, which impressed me once more - the IS is quite amazing. Also got the monopod out for its second real outing, although I need to find a method for getting portrait orientation without a tripod ring.
